
Seagrass Project Officer (part time)

Kintyre Coastal Network (KCN) are seeking to appoint a Project Officer for an exciting new seagrass survey and restoration project, Part of Seagrass Meadows, Scotland.
The candidate ideally will have enthusiasm for marine conservation and experience in practical conservation work, project management and working with volunteers.
As part of a small, friendly team, the role will include: surveying seagrass and potential restoration sites; collection, propagation and planting of seagrass; and keeping the project to time and budget.
This project is supported by the Scottish Marine Environmental Enhancement Fund (SMEEF) and South Kintyre Development Trust, and will run until 31st March 2028.
Location: Carradale and Torrisdale, East Kintyre.
Salary: £11,700 (£29,250 pro-rata). Fixed term until 31st March 2028.
Hours: 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE), with flexible hours required to suit project goals. Additional hours may be available for wider KCN work, depending on further funding and experience.
